Visitor Information and Regulations

WELCOME to Stockton Yacht Club. We hope you enjoy your stay. Please contact the Port Captain to make a reservation before arriving at the club.  To reserve space for a cruise-in please download our reservation form.  Please familiarize yourself with the following necessary and important information.

  1. Please stern your vessel in so that it takes a minimum amount of space.
  2. Guest Dock and RV Parking fees:
    PICYA clubs with reciprocal facilities    $20 per night, 30 days maximum stay
    Non-facility PICYA clubs    $25 per night, 30 days maximum stay
    Stockton Yacht Club Members    3 days free, $6.00 per night, 30 days maximum stay
    All other clubs, individuals or cruisers    $30 per night, 30 days maximum stay
    *A boat tie up or RV parking exceeding 30 days must have approval of the SYC Board of Directors.
  3. If the clubhouse is open, please sign the guest register located inside the main door. The clubhouse will remain locked unless a member is present. Showers are available in both men’s and women’s restrooms and may be accessed through the outside door located by each restroom.
  4. If you desire to leave the club grounds, the Port Captain, his/her designee or a Flag Officer can furnish you with a Guest Code that will open the electric entrance gate. The Guest Code will also allow access to the restrooms. If you plan an extended stay you need to make arrangements with the Port Captain, or his/her designee or a Flag Officer prior to arrival.
  5. Please enjoy our barbecue area. No fires or barbecues are permitted on the docks.
  6. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets. There is a dog stool disposal in the area next to the horseshoe pits.
  7. Children under 13 must wear PFD’s. No Running on the docks.
  8. Children shall be closely supervised by an adult at all times. No one under 21 shall be in the bar area.
  9. To be served alcoholic beverages guest must wear your home club name badge or guest badge.
  10. Due to ABC regulations, no alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the grounds or into the clubhouse from the dock area at any time. Drinks at the bar must be obtained from a member.  Wine may be brought into the club upon payment of a corkage charge. 
  11. Please put all trash in the dumpster located at the southeast side of the parking lot.
  12. To reach the club by car: Interstate 5 to Alpine/Country Club turnoff. West on Country Club to Wisconsin, turn right and follow it to the end of the road.
  13. To reach the Stockton Yacht Club, enter the Calaveras River just upstream from light 41 Green. Enter the Calaveras between the north shore levee and the No Wake buoy. Follow the north shore of the Calaveras about 3/4 of a mile to the Stockton Yacht Club’s guest dock. The deepest water along the Calaveras will be found about 20 feet out from the boat docks along the north levee.
